Four Corners

The area where Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona meet is called Four Corners. Driving from there to the Grand Canyon offered some of the most beautiful scenery we'd seen so far.
The beauty of the scenery was complicated a bit by an occasional cloudburst, but we managed to dodge a drenching with a roll of duct tape.
As we were getting ready to take the road to the Grand Canyon's North Rim, the sun settled low on the horizon, flashing a brilliant red on the cliffs to the north.
