An unexpected warm weekend before my birthday inspired a quick teardrop trip to celebrate. It was too cold for the mountains, so we headed south on I-5 and found this sweet little campground just east of Roseburg: Susan Creek Campground.
It rained just a little that evening, but the next day was sunny and beautiful. We were the only campers in the campground aside from the host, who seemed so happy for company, he kept riding by in his golf cart and waving at us.
The next day, we drove through Wildlife Safari on the way home, for some great wildlife photos.
