We started our trip early on Friday, September 5th. We drove over the Cascades via Highway 58, and stopped for a quick view of Salt Creek Falls, Oregon's second longest waterfall.
We then took 97 up to Highway 20 and stayed on the smaller rural highway all the way to Boise, our first stopover. It was a gorgeous, warm day, and we were ready for adventure!
